This artwork depicts the Shanti Mantra (invocatory verse) from Isha Upanishad which is part of Yajurveda.  This mantra is generally recited at the beginning and conclusion of religious ritual or discourse. The English translation is as done by Swami Abhedananda. English translation fails to convey the essence and fervor of the Sanskrit words but it is just the literal meaning.
